“For the past nine years my photographic subject has been almost exclusively the sky. I have photographed it every day for the past seven years. One of the many reasons that I photograph the sky is that it is a subject that we all experience every day, it is something that we all share. My practice is centred upon a philosophical exploration of photographic vision and its ubiquitous influence. I make up systems that conceptually explore photographic constructs, and that delve into the many ways the persuasive after-effect of the photographic is able to create formidable perceptions of the world and experience. I am concurrently engaged with some projects involving post-historical interpretation of photographic collections held by public institutions.”
